Originally I only gave 5 stars. I feel obliged to come back with an update as I have spent a good few hours on this app. It is completely different compared to applications of this kind. Basically there are very short lessons for every sentence you go through. From scratch, you can't help but understand. And as you do, you find that you start to know how to link words together.

It is interesting and useful to find an Arabic sentence and try to translate it yourself, and then the correct translation appears with the click of a button and compares the difference to see if you are wrong or to make sure that your sentence is correct. Just a great app! The approach is well thought out- nothing more, just memorize phrases and that's it. Ultimately, this is exactly what is missing in the study of languages - no matter how much you learn individual words, it is phrases and an understanding of the logic and construction of phrases that are needed. It has something no other language app has (that i have found and tried). REASONS for things. Why a consonant is pronounced or not pronounced, rules that give consistency for conjugations, all the little grammatical things that turn hard memorization into a simple set of rules applicable to the entire language... the app is simple, but it's one of the most effective i've found to date. This is one of, if not, the best app that I have ever used to learn a langauge. This app helps you to read, speak, use and actively think about the langauge. I have one question to the developer(s), though. Are you planning to make new apps for other languages? I would love to see an app for Russian or maybe Dutch and Norwegian because this app is definitely one of the best ways to aquire any language. It just works. This is the best phone app I've ever come across for learning languages. And I had a gazillion installed on my last phone. Other apps are more entertaining and gamified, but this one takes you through German step by step, principle by principle. So this is one of the very few that's making it onto the new phone. The older version gave you the first part of the course for free (almost 6000 screens!), and I never got even that far. The new version has a much more elegant and refined interface.

Minimalistic, serious app, hard to put down :-). It is convenient that you understand where the end of the material is and progress is clearly visible- page by page. You can limit the range and study the material within these limits. And, fortunately, there are no entertaining moments, such as competitions and medals :-)))

Better than I expected. I find this more comprehensive. It draws me in and helps me fill gaps in my German language learning. I use it alongside two other apps. After a couple of years practicing and learning German language with other apps I was a little disappointed with finding it difficult to construct sentences. However with only a few weeks on fastlingo I am delighted to say German grammar is starting to make sense and therefore it's much easier to construct simple sentences.

Phenomenal app. The best out there. Not just boring thematic lists of vocabulary like most apps but it actually teaches you to use the language and make sentences! I just started using this app. It goes straight into simple sentences with varying pronouns, as statements first, then changed into questions, then turned into negative statements and questions. Each sentence comes with an explanation of the grammar or phonetic rules, completes with writing, listening and pronouciation testing excercises. For listening, there are options to adjust the pitch and the speed of the speech. This is exactly the way I like to learn a language.

Just downloaded the app I couldn't stop using it since. It is very effective for a complete beginner. I wanted to test the app so I never actually studied Spanish before. After using it for 1 hour I can now understand a lot of Spanish sentence structure which is incredible for a complete beginner. Please include other languages too. I want to keep learning other languages with this method.

Great app, I've tried many different ones with cool features, but in the end simplicity and translating sentences is the best way to learn a new language. I don't really understand how the revision works yet, but maybe I'll figure it out. Do you have plans to add more languages, like Italian for example?

Very useful app. Step by step explains important peculiarity of the language. All sentences have voice. Every sentence has a list of new words with translation. For me it is the best app to learn a new language from scratch.

Simple yet rewarding. This app is easy to use and if you visit it every day and sometimes repeat some cards you will find yourself knowing more than the basics of the language. The premium version is also cheap and gives you 7400 cards so its good to take it into consideration.

I came across this app when I was looking for a suitable replacement for Duolingo, which I initially liked very much, but which became unusable after the last update. Cleverly done, well thought out, but not yet perfect. But you have to keep in mind that this app is a one-man show and is not backed by a listed company. The fair price for the full version and the developer's quick response to emails in the event of a problem are very good. Muchas gracias for that.
