Originally I only gave 5 stars. I feel obliged to come back with an update as I have spent a good few hours on this app. It is completely different compared to applications of this kind. Basically there are very short lessons for every sentence you go through. From scratch, you can't help but understand. And as you do, you find that you start to know how to link words together.

This is the best phone app I've ever come across for learning languages. And I had a gazillion installed on my last phone. Other apps are more entertaining and gamified, but this one takes you through German step by step, principle by principle. So this is one of the very few that's making it onto the new phone. The older version gave you the first part of the course for free (almost 6000 screens!), and I never got even that far. The new version has a much more elegant and refined interface.

Better than I expected. I find this more comprehensive. It draws me in and helps me fill gaps in my German language learning. I use it alongside two other apps. After a couple of years practicing and learning German language with other apps I was a little disappointed with finding it difficult to construct sentences. However with only a few weeks on fastlingo I am delighted to say German grammar is starting to make sense and therefore it's much easier to construct simple sentences.

I just started using this app. It goes straight into simple sentences with varying pronouns, as statements first, then changed into questions, then turned into negative statements and questions. Each sentence comes with an explanation of the grammar or phonetic rules, completes with writing, listening and pronouciation testing excercises. For listening, there are options to adjust the pitch and the speed of the speech. This is exactly the way I like to learn a language.

I really like this app so far! It teaches Spanish in a very organised way. I like the layout and the looks - it's very simple and effective. I'm a bit tired of apps with a design that is both pretty and unpractical. Translation to polish so far is really great! I appreciate the option to easily go back to english if I spot something off with the translation. It's great that you can read the new sentence, write it and practice pronunciation *on the same page* that can be saved for later review:)

After using it for 1 hour I can now understand a lot of Spanish sentence structure which is incredible for a complete beginner. Please include other languages too. Great app, I've tried many different ones with cool features, but in the end simplicity and translating sentences is the best way to learn a new language. I don't really understand how the revision works yet, but maybe I'll figure it out. Do you have plans to add more languages, like Italian for example?

I came across this app when I was looking for a suitable replacement for Duolingo, which I initially liked very much, but which became unusable after the last update. Cleverly done, well thought out, but not yet perfect. But you have to keep in mind that this app is a one-man show and is not backed by a listed company. The fair price for the full version and the developer's quick response to emails in the event of a problem are very good. Muchas gracias for that.
